A few days in Bangalore
Bangalore to me always has been a free town….a symbol of modernism, pub culture, young student crowd and coffee lovers…..I studied in Bangalore for four years and they were fantastic…. The weather was amazing….In fact the city is well known for its cool climate in India…and come to think of it if you have cheap beer, nothing beats it….Besides a young modern crowd the people are quite educated and a lot of residents are actually not from the city itself…most being from Delhi, Mumbai and other parts of the world…a primary reason for this is attributed to the fact Bangalore is considered to be the Information Technology (IT) of India….and probably more…. the joke amongst friends circle is if one throws a stone in the crowd more often than not chances are it will hit a person working in IT industry….it boasts some of the best companies to work……this has also lead to a rise in traffic, shopping malls and more complexes all indicating the prosperous environment….but go deeper and you still can find certain places that will always remain symbol of Bangalore….like Indian coffee house, or Russell market and so on….which goes to show the adjusting nature of the city and the people of the city as well….old fashioned modernism as I might say….
